ABOUT TECH JOURNOS FORUM

Dedicated to Independent, Rigorous Tech Journalism in Nepal

Founded in 2014, Tech Journos Forum (TJF) is the non-profit umbrella association representing over 100 technology reporters, editors, and columnists across Nepal.

Founding Background & Purpose

As telecommunications and software infrastructure expanded across Nepal, reporters covering the sector identified the need for a collaborative body to elevate technical understanding, protect source confidentiality, and hold both private telecom monopolies and public regulators accountable.

The forum operates as an independent association, conducting continuous technical workshops on data security, artificial intelligence governance, open-source investigation methods, and telecommunication economics.
